Ready for more fast food releases? Buckle up as we’ve got new treats and a Mother’s Day deal to bring you!

You’ll definitely love what Burger King has to offer this special holiday for mothers. Aside from those, you’re getting a new cookie lineup at Crumbl this week and a new cooler from Sonic for this warm season. They’re dropping right in front of you as a new release, so make sure to taste these new flavors.

If you’re up for it, read along as we’re getting into detail about what each of the flavors can offer your tastebuds.

Burger King

Looking for deals this coming Mother’s Day? Make sure to bookmark Burger King as they help kids of all ages say thank you to the mothers of their lives. It is through a special offer of their classic Whoppers! On Sunday (May 11, 2025), all Royal Perks members can get a free Whopper if they purchase a King Jr. Meal, the perfect set to treat your mom on the special holiday made just for them.

Aside from those, you might want to treat your mom with more Burger King new releases. Catch the Frozen Strawberry Flavored & NERDS Candy, which is an “icy blast of strawberry flavor” where you can choose to top with some crunchy Nerds candy. Isn’t this the nostalgic drink to remind your moms of the candy that you used to love as a child?

This beverage has been available since April 24, 2025, so better catch it while it’s still freezing at your nearest Burger King. Also, to celebrate its arrival and National Strawberry Month, the chain will be offering a free Strawberry-flavored beverage with a purchase of $1 and more via the Burger King app or website at participating restaurants.

Burger King is offering yet another deal, but this time, a digital-only deal called the Sweet & Spicy Bundle, which is available at Burger King’s official app and website. Now, this bundle includes: any two BK Crispy Wraps, a 4-piece order of Jalapeño Cheddar Bites, and a 4-piece count of Churro Fries, all priced for only $8. If you purchase them individually, it will cost you around $11.36, so you’ll save more than $3 when you avail of this deal.

Lastly, the chain is offering another digital exclusive of Family Steakhouse Combo, which features two Steakhouse Bacon Whoppers, two Cheeseburgers, two small French Fries, two 4-piece Jalapeño Cheddar Cheese Bites, and an 8-piece Churro Fries, all for a suggested price of $27. Note that prices may vary by location.

Crumbl

Another fresh batch of flavors awaits at Crumbl! If you’re having a heavy week ahead, you can always head over to Crumbl after a busy work day and indulge in their cookie and cake offerings. Check out the following new sweets that will accompany you this week:

Milk Chocolate Chip Cookie – Starting off with the classic, this cookie is a must-have in your pink box to balance out the flavors. It features a thick, soft pack with milk chocolate chips encrusted in the cookie.

Birthday Cake Cookie ft. OREO – This flavor features a thick cookie that is made up of OREO cookie pieces. It is covered in cake batter cream, cheese frosting, and even more OREO cookie pieces with rainbow sprinkles.

Brookie Cookie – Looking for a unique but classic flavor? Grab the Brookie Cookie, which features a semi-sweet chocolate chip cookie and a rich chocolate cookie baked in half.

Strawberry Ice Cream Bar Cookie – Your favorite freezing dessert now turned into a cookie form. This flavor features a chilled cookie that is packed with strawberry and vanilla. It is then layered with whipped white drop buttercream that serves as the icing and topped with strawberry and vanilla streusel crunch.

Dulce de Leche Cookie – Features a warm cinnamon-spiced cookie base that is smothered in layers of creamy dulce de leche on top. For the final touch, a dollop of frosting is placed on the center.

Carrot Cake – Not in the mood for cookies? You can always grab a Carrot Cake! It’s made up of two layers of carrot cake base that are mixed with warm spices, coconut, pineapple, and carrots. There’s also a white glaze and vanilla cream cheese frosting topped with some chopped pecans. The great news is that the Carrot Cake will be available all month long!

Butter Cake – But if you’re leaning towards a simpler cake flavor, choose the Butter Cake instead. It features a warm and gooey butter cake base baked with the crunch from white sugar crystals. The Butter Cake is then topped with buttery glaze and a smooth vanilla bean whipped cream.

SONIC

SONIC is bringing fans to a magical world with their newest creation of Unicorn Dreams Slush, which will arrive at SONIC locations by May 5, 2025. But if you’re really excited to get those sparkles on, you can unlock early access by using the SONIC app starting today (April 28, 2025).

This unicorn drink features a vibrant pink cotton candy-flavored slush that is swirled with blue raspberry flavor bubbles. The drink is also topped with a fluffy cloud of whipped topping and a sprinkle of shimmering pink cotton candy sugar crystals.

To celebrate its launch, SONIC is introducing the Legendary Wish-Awakening Unicorn Horn Straws, which are free with every purchase of the Unicorn Dreams Slush starting May 5, 2025, until supplies last. These straws are shaped just like a unicorn’s horn. It comes with four straw shades that you can collect:

White to Pink Color Changing
Green to Blue Color Changing
Neon Green Glow in the Dark
Frost Blue Glitter

Fans are invited to share the magic on social media by being inspired by the Legendary Wish-Awakening Unicorn Horn Straw by using the #WishSipBelieve in every post.

They will be available nationwide starting May 5, 2025, as every purchase of the drink will include the straw. At participating locations while supplies last. The Unicorn Dreams Slush begins at $3.99 for a 20-oz size.

Burger King sure has a lot of deals this coming month of May! But I’m most excited about the Sweet & Spicy Bundles, as this month calls for a lot of food! I’m also curious about SONIC’s new Unicorn Dreams Slush, although I dislike drinks that are too sweet, I’d still order the drink because I used to love unicorns when I was a kid. I remembered ordering unicorn-themed food, and I guess I haven’t changed at all. 🤣
